At Suffolks, we teach children how to work scientifically through using a wide range of scientific knowledge and skills including planning, fair testing, observing over time, classifying and investigating. We offer a vocabulary rich curriculum which aims to foster the children's confidence and independence and to understand the implications of science today and in the future.
We enrich our science teaching through high-quality school trips such as the British Science Museum and Forty Hall. We invite visitors to the school such as local secondary school teachers and scientists.
We encourage our children to further their scientific understanding by providing opportunities for experimenting through their home learning activities.
